Had been wanting to try this place forever, and was super excited to finally do so. Stopped in here after 8:00 mass at St. Stanislaus, and was able to grab a table for three, although the place was already pretty packed. Toast does not accept reservations. It's first come, first serve. There are tables on two levels, and a long bar available for dining. Service was fast, friendly and accommodating. Really good food here! I haven’t had a good breakfast place in awhile! The chicken gravy was fantastic! I would highly suggest to have the egg poached so when you split it open it just covers the whole thing and it looks amazing 🤩. Also recommend having the spicy sauce (that comes with it) on the side for you to dip into instead of it drizzled over your dish because it was VERY SPICY lol but it provides a nice kick to the dish. 😉
This is my new favorite spot! Such a cozy space with big chill vibes and even bigger bolder flavors!!! The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is ICONIC! I could go on and on but this place speaks for itself. 10/10. We can’t wait to try more from this masterpiece of a menu! Soooo YUMMY!!! 🤤❤️🤩😎
Fabulous restaurant to catch a great breaking, brunch, staff lunch (like we did) in a chill, artsy, vibrant positive atmosphere. The menu has a counter culture theme and by the looks of what my work colleagues had and my definitely my order...I don't think they're was anything in that menu that wasn't good. The days it's open are selective so you have to pay attention to their schedule. Lots of dope art strung throughout both floors set in an old cream city brick building in the 5th ward. Treat yo self!
Toast had been on my list of spots to check out when I got to Milwaukee, and I’m happy to say it lived up to the expectations. I only ordered one thing, the caramel apple French toast, but it was more than enough to fill me up. The dish had alot of flavor and was satisfying without being over the top.
