Most definitely one if the best meals I've had for breakfast! I had the brie and prosciutto crepe with a strawberry sauce...to die for. Hubby had the French Toast and it was amazing as well. Super cute little local spot with great customer service!

Almost hesitate to give it such a high rating because I don't want Toast to become any more popular than it already is. Want to keep it our neighborhood secret. But they move through the lines quickly on the weekends and the service is fantastic. The food is as well prepared and tasty as any you will ever find. An Uptown jewel.
I am from Dallas,TX every time I go to a city I try and find the best and most unique local breakfast spots. This is definitely that place in New Orleans. It is off the beaten tourist path so just getting there you get a deeper view of New Orleans. The staff are welcoming, friendly and down to earth. Had a really nice music conversation with one of the servers. The food is amazing. Toast was excellent! Both the food and service were really enjoyable. We wanted to get away from the French Quarter and this did the trick. The gals working there were super nice and helped us with recommendations for less-touristy places to visit.
