Dr. Edwards spent so much time helping me understand what was going on with my TMJ. He was honest about solutions and very compassionate.
I was a patient of Dr. Barnes before Dr. Edwards took over the practice, and have been followed by Dr. Edwards since then. I am saddened to see a handful of negative comments about him and this practice because they have been nothing but kind, patient, and supportive since I’ve known them. Can I give him a zero? I went for an initial appointment and this doctor made me feel so horrible for asking him questions about my TMJ symptoms. This doctor is very rude and has no bedside manners. A doctor is supposed to teach his patients with compassion. Mind you, English is not my first language and I was nervous...I had been suffering with symptoms for two years until I found him. I was told that they don't take insurance. When I asked (out of genuine curiosity, not rudely) how people afford care there, hoping she might cite payment plans or something, the receptionist laughed at me. I'm disabled. Could there be a worse kind of doctor's office than this?
Dr. Edwards and his staff are professional, competent, and welcoming. I am at a bit higher risk for complications with palatal expansion, and Dr. Edwards has been incredibly accessible and patient responding to my numerous questions. I am grateful for that attention, and it really put me at ease. He has been a vital part of my healthcare team to help understand and treat my sleep and respiratory difficulties.
