I had a disappointing experience with this doctor's office regarding billing. I was quoted $1,000 for the service, and based on that information I agreed to move forward with the treatment. However, after the procedure was completed, I was billed over $2,000. The final cost came as an unexpected surprise. Dr Karkow is knowledgeable and personable. She and her staff are very professional and work together to provide the best care.
Only reason I am leaving this is because I saw the response left to my review. I left a 1 star review because I felt I was not heard as a patient while here and was met with being told I wasn't trying hard enough when I did everything that was asked of me. Glad I didn't continue coming back after the way you responded to my review.
I made an appointment with Dr. Krakow and ended up needing to go out of town and was unable to make that appointment but did cancel online but the receptionist called the clinic I sometimes work at asking for me and telling the person they talked to what I was scheduled for and told them that I would never be able yo be seen again and I am sorry but to me that is a breach of HIPPA and very disrespectful. I will never consider rescheduling or even recommend them if they are give my information out who is to say they are need ... read more
