Pros: they generally don't break laws. Rent payment is convenient. Cons: basically nonexistent maintenence (we waited literally months for a washing machine to be fixed, more than that for a window to be fixed, never got a hole in our floor fixed) expect your actual costs to be way higher than advertised between a "service fee" for stuff that other apartments generally would not charge you for (like garbage collection), an insanely high move in fee, and required renters insurance. I had the best support ever from Bryan Lucero. He went above and beyond for me in my hunting apartment application. I highly recommend the TMG and Bryan. I’m in Chicago about a month and in love with the city and the apartment.
