My husband and I visited TLC this afternoon with our 8 year old "son", Buckeye. Buckeye is a standard dachshund that has had skin irritation issues since last year. This morning, I woke up to find my baby covered in red sores and losing his hair. In a panic, we took him to TLC as our regular vet was closed. Dr. Cable diagnosed him with a thyroid disease that was causing the skin irritation. Turns out Buckeye had been misdiagnosed!
