Our family had a very confusing and upsetting experience during one of the most difficult times of our lives. A hospice nurse came to the hospital, spent significant time with our father, spoke with his doctors, listened to our family, thoroughly evaluated him, and approved him for in-hospital hospice care. As an organization that services the healthcare needs of special populations this company falls short of reasonable expectations. A brief exchange with front office personnel makes obvious marked deficits in the areas of reliability, communication, professional conduct, emotional regulation and follow-through. High praise for Natasha and Sarah at Access TLC. They truly care about the people they serve and go the extra mile to help get things done. I am so thankful. After allowing time for reflection, our initial reaction to the consultation remains unchanged, it was highly negative. Even with passage of time, my family and I stand firm in our decision to never use this service again. However, we deeply appreciate the physicians and nurses at the hospital, who provided exceptional care.
