I can’t say enough good things about this gym. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and part of a family. Coach Thomas runs the gym with the perfect balance of professionalism, patience, and passion for jiu jitsu. He explains techniques clearly, making sure everyone from beginners to advanced students can understand and apply them.

Great place to learn BJJ.. Super family and kid friendly.. all the coaches are very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend it.. this is the only place I've trained and wouldn't leave it for anything..

I had the opportunity to drop in for the 6 a.m. class at TKJJ and was met with a warm greeting from both Professor Thomas and the crew there. Professor Thomas’ teaching style was incredibly thorough and tailored to individuals of all skill levels. As a movement practitioner myself, I truly appreciated how he scaled the lesson to accommodate everyone. I'll definitely be stopping by whenever I'm in the area.

Went to a morning No-Gi class at 6am. There was a about 12 people that showed up which was awesome for a morning class. The place was clean, taken care of, and just felt like a great place to be. The instructor, Genesis, was patient with me and my 13-year-old son and I didn't feel unattended or 'thrown in'. He welcomed us in, led a very well instructed and thought-out class, and it was apparent that he practices what he teaches because it works.
