My best friend surprised me with a mani-pedi at TK Nails — my first time there — and it was such a great experience! I haven’t had a pedicure in years and usually avoid manicures because my fingers tend to hurt afterward, but Kevin completely changed that for me. I would not recommend! I booked a dip manicure and pedicure a week ago. During the manicure they cut my cuticles back so far with the nail drill and coated them with nail polish remover which made my fingers feel like they were burning. In less than a week the top coat of the dip manicure was peeling back and chipping. I have had many dip manicures before and this normally does not happen for 3-4 weeks. I will not be going back here. I came in for a manicure and pedicure walk in on my birthday. the pedicure was fine but when it came to the manicure they were really rough with my nails! There was a lady that filed down my cuticle with the small machine they use too far, and it made my fingers bleed! several of my fingers were bleeding and the lady said sorry and acted as if nothing happened!
