My 2 sons went to camp here this summer in July. The theme was beach activities which never happened. My kids even brought their swimsuits one day that they were asked to and never did anything in the water. Most of the camp leaders were young kids. I personally witnessed one camp leader yell at a kid until he cried and they were laughing. My kids told me they watched Mr. Beast, Fultyon, and Grand theft auto which is wildly inappropriate for 6/7 yo on you tube. My Grandson did a week of summer camp and he absolutely loved it. He was excited that he made some new friends. He came home happy everyday.
My daughter has participated in YMCA summer camp program at Ted Whitlock Community center for 2 years. The staff is amazing to work with. The enrichment activities are great and the kids have fun. I highly recommend this for all students who need something to do in the summer and for parents who need childcare.
The coaches were very kind and thoughtful and patientat the same time!
