Lyn T Wanted to add to my review the Dobbs I referenced for excellent customer service was the Dobbs at 1206 N Belt West Swansea My battery on light caused by recent installation of new battery! ( go figure)
Lyn T Wrote two great reviews before but sadly not now Had battery light on and called to see if I could bring car in to have it checked. Told I’d need appt. “Can’t do things for free”. He said Called Dobbs down the street. “Bring it in” I was told. No wai. Gentleman came out immediately and showed me how to shut light off! NO CHARGE! He said “ that’s what we’re here for” couldn’t believe it’ An honest car repairman Advise calling around from now on!!!
Had work completed on my car after it had been at the dealers. Eric and Dan were professional and explained what needed to be done. I know car dealers, BELIEVE me, quite well. These gentlemen went over and above to help me and completed the work in a short time and reasonable cost to me I highly recommend this business and will always take my auto there for any needed repair Costs of everything has consistently risen. Great service but expensive This business was recommended to me by another car repair place. This place did not service foreign cars. They recommended Tish's because they do work on foreign cars. The service was reliable. The staff were knowledgable and courteous. However, the repair costs were fairly high compared to other places. I went there over the course of several years. One of my experiences was with a diagnostic test. They did the test but did not push the expensive fixes that might not work. They recommended a "wai... read more
Tish Auto Svc I was looking for an auto shop that specialized in Mercedes Benz. Tish Auto was recommend by a couple of people. I went on line to check this shop out and I ran into a pretty harsh review. I asked my friends again and I was told Mark Tish is good. My car was not starting and when it did it ran real rough. Mark tested my car diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The car runs great. I guess the most impressive part of this experience was Mark himself. He was honest, kind and explained everything to me. Tish's Auto Service have been around for over 30 years and at this location for at least 22 years. They work on any vehicle I took there. BMW, Jags, Mercedes, and Volvos. Have always been informed about what they are doing, and never surprised when I pick up my car. They are very professional and always polite, especially to us women, they don't talk down to us. I have taken all my cars to Mark over the years and also my children's cars. I have always been pleased with the work he has done.
Expensive Auto Service If you are looking for affordable auto service I would NOT recommend Tish's Auto Service. I write this as a customer and also spouse of a former mechanic. Tish's has great front counter staff and are very friendly and helpful. But they are one of the highest priced Auto Mechanic's shops in the area. The other thing is over the last two years since my husband moved to another employment their service is not nearly as fast as it use to be.
