On November 2nd, 2023 I received a notice that the membership fee would be increased by $100.00 in January 2024, noting the fee hadn't been raised in over 6 years. Yet, when I renewed in September 2023, my fee was raised $150.00. No reason was given. I have disabilities, my income is just over $900.00 per month. Rent before September was $488.00. Total rent as of September is $660.00 per month. In January it will be $760.00, 80% of my income. The fee covers 1 meal per day, which cannot be opted out of. I haven't had any food... read more
