They took over a month to get things moving. I have pain in my shoulder and am barely sleeping and finally after taking forever to do so I was able to get an appointment. Literally the day of (and mind you it took over a month for the appointment) they cancel it a few hours before it. Now it should be fun to see how long it takes to get a new appointment.
How could the MA Medical Profession allow a terrible company like Shields MRI to dominate the Imaging industry? They have a consistently low 1–2-point rating on Birdeye; I have a negative story to tell myself but would require more than 50 character.
Had a terrible experience with Shields MRI Worcester, been "waiting" to have an MRI which is taking 2 months and 3 cancelled appointments. Prep for a biopsy. First cancellation I was told was due to a computer error in scheduling, second cancellation was due to an incorrect time that was scheduled in Framingham in the AM, third time was due to UMass Urology dept. not authorizing the insurance (all about $$ of course) in time of my appointment on September 7th. JOLINE C. SHIELD CALLED TO MAKE AN MRI APPOIMENT, I MISSED THE CALL AND CALLED RIGHT BACK. PAULA WHO ANSWER THE PHONE SHE TOLD ME THEIR IS NO ORDER. I TOLD HER THAY JUST CALLED. WELL SHE HUNG UP ON ME.I HAD TO CALL DOCTOR AND CALL CENTRAL SCHEDULING HAD TO CALL SHEILD MRI AND GET THEM ON PHONE TO MAKE THE APPOIMENT. I DO NOT KNOW PAULA BUT SHE SHOULD NOT WORK WITH PUBLIC AT ALL VERY RUDE PERSON.
Went for two MRIs and was told that I could either do both or come back for the second, which is what I chose to do. Now I am told that because I am coming back that I will owe another $100. No one bothered to mention that. And I'm told there is nothing they can do about that. Right...
