common crook I have always been a loyal Tires Plus customer in Kansas City. So when my teenage daughter experienced a blowout in Columbia, I told her to see if they had a Tires plus and go there, nowhere else. Big mistake. Total Train Wreck Went in to get my tires and was told it would be 30 min. Nearly two hours later they had put on a different brand of tire than my request and charged me for something I did not want. Don't listen to reviews from the owner and his pals! This guy is a shyster and a cheat.
Bad tire part 1 We went to get 4 tires that were in an ad on sale. They didn't have them...uh oh bait and switch right? Four "comparible" tires were put on at a slightly higher price. We needed tires. after waiting for a couple of hours the car was ready and on the bill was a $20 "option" that I declined when offered. Tires Plus, in a hurry to get you out of their way I visited Tires Plus because I had a coupon from the back of a grocery receipt and wanted to get an oil change and tire rotation. The man behind the counter said it would only take about 10 minutes. I showed him the coupon and he said yes, 10 minutes. I said that?s to change the oil and rotate the tires? He said yes. Time to find a new mechanic. Brought my car in today to get a tire patched. Was told it would take 20-30 minutes to repair, so I waited in the lobby. After an hour, I went back to the front desk and was told they would get to my car next, and it would be another half hour. It took them almost 3 hours to finish a tire patch (and no apologies or explanations for the wait). Also, had the radiator replaced an an oil leak repaired a few months ago, and am now seeing oil and coolant leakage.
