I traveled from Georgia to Missouri for a family matter. During my travels I somehow got a screw in my tire. I went to Tires Plus and while in line I got a phone call from a family member which I hung up from when it was my turn in line. The gentleman who wrote up my ticket for me asked if he heard correctly that I was trying to get to a wake and when I replied yes, he bumped me to the front of the line. Would rather make a few bucks then do the RIGHT thing. I came to Tires Plus because I had driven over a SMALL screw and my tire had a slow air leak. I am a female, but I am not stupid when it comes to cars, contrary to popular belief. And something I was always taught was never to trust a first opinion, EVER. I had to be out in Overland Park by a certain time and I told them that. Was refused service requested resulted in additional charges – On Aug 18th at 11:45 arrived at Tires Pluserequested for tire to be patched we agreed to the excessive charge of $25.00. Then to be told several minutes later that it was the side wall and they can't repair that. We then requested to patch the spear tire and put it on as it was a newer tire. Tires Plus is a scam Do not go to the Grandview tire's plus! It is a scam. They do not honor tire warranties. I got a set of 4 fire hawk Indy 500s (with extended warranty) with their alignment service an additional $85). After 4 months of driving (less than 2000 miles) the tires where going bald. When I told the manager (William) the problem, I also showed him the receipts. He then preceded to tell me that it was an alignment problem. Tires Plus Not really to happy with them. Went to get my oil changed, also told them I was hearing a squeaking sound coming from the front of my car. Thought it might be brakes. So he said they would do the oil change and do an inspection.
