Quality-wise - no complains, had regular maintenance with them (tires change, oil change, wheel alignment - at 2nd attempt) - that's why not one star! What did strike me was the situation when I came to change tires and do wheel alignment. When I came back I was told: 1. "rear drum brakes must be serviced" 2. "wheel alignment was not done, here is a bill for ~$37" 3. "alignment not done, because all four shock absorbers were leaking, they must be replaced and you would have to do alignment again" All looks legit... to someon... read more
The West Island is already known not to have reliable shops. I only do business with shops in Laval (VAG Motorsports) even though I live in the West Island. I needed a very simple 1 tire mount on 1 rim. I have guys on the road like SBF Pneu mobile that does four 22 inch rims in less than 20 minutes in front of your house, I have a very busy schedule & I figured if I drop off the rim before opening hours at 8:00 am, I have the possibility of getting it back before noon; so I was told by the reception. My brothers experience with Total Auto was bad. They changed his breaks two weeks ago and then they stopped working and he nearly got into a accident. When he told the owner he checked and said his master cylinder breakline was broken and would cost $350 to fix. My brother went to another garage and the garage fixed it for $20 there was an air bubble. Consumers please be wary of going to this place, they have been known to not finish jobs properly and charge customers for their mistakes. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
