IN THE SPRING OUR CENRAL UNIT FAILED. CALLED TIPTON'S AND THEY CAME OUT ABOUT TWO HOURS LATER AND REPAIRED. WE WERE SO IMPRESSED WE HAD THEM INSTALL WHOLE NEW HVAC UNIT AND SWITCHED TO NATURAL GAS FOR HEAT. THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE JOB REQUIRED CUSTOM DUCT WORK AND PLUMBING FOR THE GAS. THE WHOLE JOB LOOKS LIKE WHAT YOU SEE ON THE HOME IMPROVEMENT SHOWS ON TV. THE TOTAL PRICE WAS A LOT LESS THAN WE EXPECTED
I've been using Tipton since 2010 for my HVAC needs. Today they came out to add blow-in insulation to my 31 yo house attic. They were quick enough about doing the job but didn't hurry. They cleaned up any mess resulting from the work. I am quite satisfied and am eagerly awaiting winter to see how it performs. I expect I will be pleased again when my central does not come on as often as it has been coming on these past few years (winter & summer). Y'all should check your attics for sufficient insulation. Came out to my rental home in Hazel Green. Supposedly checked the ac system for leaks. Could not find anything after 20 minutes in attic and doing nitrogen check. Filled with freon. Charged $845 without my consent. Came back out 3 days later when ac quit. Same tech said there was a leak in the system. Found it in LESS THAN 5 MINUTES at the outside compressor. Fixed in and recharged with freon. Will charge $1700 to repair and add freon AGAIN!
We got home from vacation and our air was out. They came within 30 minutes of me calling and had it fixed. The price was great as well! We are so thankful for this business.
They were honest in the professional opinion on what needed to be done.
