Mark and Shanti are great trainers and taught us every step of the way with our 1.5 year old labradoodle. Before he used to be very excited and get distracted easily like all puppies do but through their help and training at Tip Top, we are extremely satisfied with how his training ended up. Before finding Mark and Shanti at Tip Top K9, our dog was completely uncontrollable. We couldn’t have guests over without chaos, walks were a nightmare, and our commands were met with total indifference. The difference now is night and day. Mark and Shanti resolved every single issue we had. We can finally enjoy peaceful walks and host friends comfortably, knowing our dog will actually listen. If you’re struggling with a stubborn pup, I cannot recommend Tip Top K9 highly enough—they truly work magic!
Mark, Shanti, and their team really go above and beyond when it comes to dogs and training! My dog Dexter did the 2 week boot camp option and I can definitely say Dexter is a more well behaved, balanced, and all around more mature. In April of 2025, my two small pups went to Tip Top K9’s Dog Training in Carrollton. I have a chihuahua and a wired haired mix. The consultation seemed good and the reviews all looked positive. Even as I write this, there doesn’t seem to be a single Google review less than 5 stars. Well, let this be the first. And had I looked further at Reddit/Facebook, I would have seen the less than stellar feedback on this company. This was one of the best things I could’ve done for my dog. We sent my Staffweiler (Molly) to doggy boot camp and she came back a different dog. Mark was super transparent and helped us every step of the way. The at home training sessions were super helpful and informational. And the sessions for life are something that really excites me. I can’t wait to continue training with Tip Top K9.
