I don't think these bug packets are ethical at all. I bought one mostly to inspect the conditions for the bugs. They were obviously not treated humanely. 80% of them were dead in the bag. There was not much space for the living ones to move around. They were not provided with water or moisture, which probably lead to their death. I feel like there should be harsher laws to protect all animals, including bugs. Looking at the facility photos, I'm scared to know what goes on in there. I have ordered beneficial predators from this company three times now. Once, some insects arrived dead. Another time, they forgot to include release boxes I ordered, which I needed for a time-sensitive release of some insects. In both instances, customer service followed up to send me replacements, but those oversights caused inconvenience with beneficial insect release timing on my end. While this company offers good products at a competitive price, I would not recommend if your application is time-sensitive.

I ordered the 300 pack of live lady bugs. When they arrived at my house they were dried out and all very much not alive (like they hadnt been for a while). I emailed the company letting them know and I asked for a refund. Which I feel is reasonable considering I spent almost $30 for nothing. I sent them the pictures I attached below.
