Arin was so sweet and attentive. I would be back just for her great service! She made my grandmas birthday special.
Nothing was wrong by any means. Our server was excellent, Jennifer. The food was just ok. There are better cheaper Mexican restaurants in BR IMO. However, if you do go, try the red sangria. It was great! Update 7/23/26 Place is still beautiful Food was not great and the customer service has gotten worse. I won't revist as I have found better Sangria in Baton Rouge.
First time being at TIO Javis Fresh Mex bar & Grill a couple of weeks ago for a book club gathering with coworkers. The tacos were amazing. The atmosphere was fun and the margarita was delicious
We have been coming to Tio Javis in Baton Rouge every year on our way to our beach vacation and absolutely love it. You can’t beat the quality of the food and the atmosphere! But I really wanted to share this for any other parent or person navigating life with celiacs disease. We will continue to come to Tio Javis for the way they accommodate our daughter with her celiacs!!
