This is the second time I have volunteered my time to bring a member of my DAV chapter to a primary care appointment. His appointment was at 1430, as I am writing this it is 1615. The clinic is supposed to close in 15 minutes and this man's doctor still has not called him. This is the second time that this has happened with the same doctor and same patient. I have mixed feelings about the Tinton Falls VA Clinic in New Jersey. The care was average — not the best, not the worst. The facility itself feels outdated and could benefit from either a new location or better staff training. What bothered me the most was that staff lied to me about the VA MISSION Act (the community care program). They told me it didn’t exist or wasn’t funded, which was completely false. If you have to go to this clinic, you’ll get seen… but don’t expect much. P.S. I love laughing at farts again.

Depends on the day. One day you’re cared for. Next month you’re dismissed. Who knows. Hoaaah.
My third yearly appointment is coming up mid December 2025 ! My experience with the clinic and the Doctor has always been excellent! Very little wait time ! Support Staff very professional, friendly and Doctor Yakubov has been spot on with several recommendations! Having had my hip replacement last February under Medicare ! VA assistance provided at home after surgery exceeded my expectations!
