THIS SALON IS A VISUAL NIGHTMARE. Clients are greeted at the door by floor to ceiling shelves of product, it is like the COSTCO of hair and skin essentials (as a matter of fact, the brand of hair product sold can be purchased at Target, Meijer, WalMArt, etc...). The reception desk is 20 feet from the entrance and the one, yes one, receptionist is always in the room behind the desk (need to make noise or say something to be acknowledged). I very much enjoy the services I receive at State of Mind which include: massage therapy, pedicures, manicures, and brow waxes. The staff is wonderful! I am always greeted with a smile from the front desk, which carries through to the direct service providers. Deborah (who was a delight) was my first point of contact at the spa and since, I've enjoyed wonderful services with Pam, Lauren and Kelly. Very overpriced! – I had set up an appointment after speaking to the receptionist on the phone and her telling me a price range for the services I was getting done. My hair is not at all what I had told the girl I wanted. I was never told that getting my hair dried would be an additional cost. I feel after a color service you would automatically dry it to see the end result. I was charged for services I never was even asked about. Oh, how I loved being pampered like this!! – I was fortunate enough to have the time on my recent visit from Florida to Indiana to visit the State of Mind Salon & Day Spa, It was VERY cold outside but beautiful, warm and serene & friendly inside! Wonderful spa experience! – I recently visited State of Mind Salon with a girlfriend. I had a pedicure and a facial. I can't say enough about how friendly and professional the staff are. They truly cater to your every need while you are there, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. I can honestly say it is a unique experience that you will not find at another spa. So Fresh & Clean – My husband and I, yes i said my HUSBAND, and i go here every two week and get Pedis together. We enjoy going to State of Mind Salon & Day Spa as the start to our date days!
Highly recommended! – Amy is just a doll and wonderfully awesome! I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a great salon experience. Nails, hair and massages you really couldn't ask for a better date for yourself.
Highly recommended, I love this day spa! – I have had mani and pedi's and massages, and every single time my experience is wonderful. I love this spa. My husband and I make a day out of it, while he gets his hair cut I am busy getting my own pampering done for myself! I am shocked to even see negative reviews about this company, they are o-u-t-s-t-a-n-d-i-n-g and I highly recommend this to anyone.
