I had the basic hamburger and it was just the right size. However I order it with mayo, pickle and lettuce. I got pickle and lettuce. No biggie. My wife ordered the half sandwich with a cup of soup. The soup of the day was zuppa, which is a take off of Olive Gardens zuppa Toscana. Only this was nothing but broth. I’d stop here again, but would stick to the burgers.

They ran out of coffee. Like who does that....food was good but a normal person enjoys coffee with their breakfast. Also the young dark haired female server/busser was super rude and didn’t give a shit about her job you could tell. I asked if they would have more coffee and she said “Uhhh idk...” how about instead of idk you go find out? Lol good food but crappyyyyyy service.

This diner was like stepping back in time. The food was just like gramma use to make. All homemade no frozen stuff heated up! I wish I lived closer. But not only is the diner amazing but the gift shop is really awesome. It has toys and games that I haven’t seen since I was a kid. Tiddley winks and rocket snappers just to name a few. If you are anywhere near Port Clinton Ohio you have to go there.
