He charged by the yardage instead of by the number of rooms which everybidy else seems to do. I think it resulted in a larger bill. Had to ask for senior discount.

I charge by the square foot not the yard. I have a range of square foot charges depending on many factors like how soiled the carpet is and how much furniture needs to be moved or pet urine damage. Not everyone charges by the room as rooms vary in size. I also have a minimum service call charge which is determined by the distance from my shop to the job site. Tim did an excellent job in both explaining what he could do and then accomplished fantastic results. he was able to remove pet stains. carpets look new.
