Tim has worked on my vehicles many times. As I'm definitely not a mechanic. He has told me things to do to try and fix it my self and if I can't fix it then he has me bring it in. He could have just said bring it in to fix it and charge me. Definitely not there just for the money.
They had my car for over 3 months, never answered my calls, never returned my phone calls, and did work on my car without consulting me first. I dropped my car off there to only have them diagnose what was wrong and they never called to inform me and they then decided to work on my car without my permission. They made me pay for it even though they weren't authorized to do it and my car only ran for a week before breaking. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are highly unprofessional and dishonest.
Tim has rebuilt the transmission and rear end on my Dodge and will soon rebuild the transmission on my Ford van. I can't speak for any other auto repair shop in town but Tim has always done right by me I would trust him to repair any part on my rolling stock. His prices are right and he has a great personality
Tim's Automotive does an excellent job with my vehicles and is reasonable. I will not take me cars anywhere else.

Good morning everyone, I just want to publicly thank and promote Tim's Automotive Specialties in Dallas. I had some issues with my Yukon yesterday trying to remove the oil cap (it had fused on after sitting 8 months) and although he was closed he fixed the problem outside in the pouring rain Thank you!
