This is an old fashioned, top down, "sit down and shut up" practice. Evidently no one on the staff was trained regarding patient centered care. Nursing staff and even nursing supervisor will not return phone calls. No information for two weeks after my appointments.
Had a great conciliation appointment with Dr. Bax. We discussed and scheduled an operation that I have been waiting 13 years to get. I called the office the day of my appointment to verify surgery time and whatnot. My father and I took work off and went to this appointment only to learn Dr. Bax's medical assistant forgot to call and tell me that he wasnt going to perform the surgery. Very unprofessional.
