I have always appreciated Dr. Scott Maughon, and respected him as a physician whom I have known for many years as a therapist, as well as a patient in later years. He has always done a great job taking care of his patient's needs, giving realistic outcome expectations for functiona and/or discomfort levels. I would not have trusted any other orthopedist to operate on my shoulder other than Scott. He's the best at what he does!
Dr Maughon, MD did my shoulder surgery in October 2024 and he did a great job! He explained in detail what he was going to do. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and respectful throughout the whole process before, during and after surgery. Even when I continue to have some pain after my physical therapy and went to see Dr Maughon to find out why, he discovered my shoulder had healed, however I had additional problems with my cervical spine.
