I ruptured my left distal biceps tendon on July 11. After working through the workers’ compensation process, I was finally connected with Dr. Pater’s scheduling team on July 20, and they were able to get me in for a consultation that same day. My experience with Dr. Prater was one that I walked out of the office feeling rushed and the my referral of over 5 different tests and two different had surgeries were not read or in any way prepared for before I got there. His nurse even said when she checked me in that they should have read everything before hand. Then as he gave me a report I felt that he projected on me that it was me looking to have another surgery to fix my (in his words “deformed finger”. Dr Pater has performed surgery on my hand and shoulder over the years as well as my son years ago. He and his staff have always been professional and straight forward. I would highly recommend him.
