My husband was recently referred to Dr Orphanides for some abnormal lab work. From the moment we entered the office it was exceptional. Guilliana, the medical technician, was very friendly and extremely thorough with getting the informationready for the doctor. When Dr Orphanides entered he was personable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He obtained a very detailed medical history and gave some potential reasons for the abnormal blood tests. Couldn't even GET a visit. Got a referral from my primary doctor on a Thursday. Called to make an appt and had to leave a message. I did that on Friday, Monday and Tuesday and here it is Wednesday and I still haven't gotten a call back. If you can't even get appointments set up after 5 days, it's no good for those of us who are sick and waiting.
He is a great doctor. Sorry to see him leave his practice in Martinsburg and relocating to Florida. I wish him the best of luck. You will be missed Been going to him for 10 years. He is very thorough and takes his time with you.
Seems to have an arrogant attitude and a problem with follow through. We'd be on a treatment path and it would just end, or take a drastic turn for no apparent reason. Then it reached a dead end. Had to find a new dr.
