He messed up a very routine surgery and blamed it on “it happens”. Then you have to go in for second and maybe even third times so more money for him!!!
I'm not sure how this man graduated medical school. He is not good at his job, from his bedside manner to his knowledge; it's simply embarrassing. He should find a new profession.
Dr. Husted was second opinion for surgery and was the better option as far as how to accomplish the surgery. Would return for any future procedures.
Dr. Husted is a kind and gentle doctor. I had gallbladder surgery with him that went perfect. My quality of life has been improved. Everything went smooth. Would recommend to anyone.
He was very easy to talk to and we had faith in his abilities to start. Days after surgery we had to go to the ER because we could not get any response from his office. Even the doctor in the ER could not reach them and we waited for 4 HOURS! He dismissed it as no big deal. Well that "no big deal" cost me $500 in ER costs and a days pay. Not to mention the fear my son and I experienced over the bleeding. He told us to have laser removal done/that insurance would pay for it. This was a lie.
I had a very good experience with Dr. Husted. He was courteous, polite and seemed very confident. He answered my questions and was personal as well as professional. A good person and a good doctor.
He was very quick to dismiss any concerns i had about my bowel resection. His nurses show more caring an concern. After graduating me which is his version of dismissing you from his care. I ended back in the hospital for a week. Not once but twice. I would never go back to him. I like life too much.
Dr. Husted ignored interoperative signs during hernia surgery that led to my grandmother almost dying. We immediately demanded a new doctor and would never recommend his services to anyone.
