No longer at Lassen Medical Clinic (as of Sept., 2020). During my last visit he was prompt, courteous and very helpful. Would recommend for ENT in northern California location.
His bedside manner is lacking. I felt like he didn't look at my chart before seeing me. I believe he was not very experienced if at all in the surgery he performed on me.
Decent doctor, but seems to have trouble documenting his findings from his procedures. Better off trying to go somewhere in Chico or redding. Having to wait a month for each appointment clearly shows the facilities is understaffed in that department; even by red bluff standards.
He is the nicest doctor I have ever met and I have met dozens of them. He is also very considerate, thorough and knowledgeable. I'm actually glad I have to come back every year to see him.
He is an intelligent and knowledgeable doc. Good bedside manner and I had excellent surgical result.
The staff are idiots who can't pick up a phone to verify coverage/eligibility over the phone. Dont waste your time
Over the last 2 years it has become increasingly difficult to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. I have developed vertigo and the first time I had an episode I couldn't get in with Dr. Frantz for over a week, I ended up at immediate care. The 2nd time was the same so I suffered for a week before getting in. He prescribed me a diuretic which worked! This time all I needed was a refill of the diuretic, I called first thing in morning and and 3 times throughout the day to no avail.
Dr. Frantz is one of my favorite docs. He is so compassionate and interested in making sure I'm better. Most doctors see patients as numbers. Dr. Frantz sees his patients as people. I can't recommend him highly enough.
My grand daughter (3) was very comfortable with Dr.Frantz and assistance, very easy to speak to and really cares about what is going on.
