Tim creates a welcoming and comfortable environment from the moment you walk in. He takes the time to thoroughly explain every step of his intake, assessment, and treatment process, which really puts you at ease. Beyond the excellent acupuncture and herbal treatments, Tim provides valuable diet and health coaching that is incredibly helpful. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for comprehensive care in San Francisco.
I couldn't have had any better first experience with acupuncture than with Tim Asher. He was great at answering my questions, creating a comfortable environment, talking me through the experience, and explaining acupuncture in an easily-understandable way. I felt incredible after and could not recommend him enough.
Tim started treating me in January for severe back pain and he helped me recover quickly. I have continued to see him regularly since then and he has helped me improve my sleep, digestion and overall well-being. I have been to many acupuncturists over the last 25 years and Tim is my favorite. He listens carefully and seems to have a sixth sense for what I need. My husband and my mom now see him and he has really helped them, too.
A couple weeks ago I visited Tim for an immune-system tune-up as the seasons began to change. I’ve done this several times now, and each time has been excellent, all because of Tim. Tim has a nice way of putting you right at ease, especially if you’re unsure about acupuncture, and he has created a warm and inviting work space. I came to see Tim for acupuncture after one unfortunate cross-country flight threw my back out of alignment. Being tall is always a challenge on an airplane! Arriving back in SF I had trouble getting up from seated position, bending down, sleeping or even standing straight. Tim took me through detailed assessments to identify hip imbalance and various muscle compensations on my back spine. He recommended to supplement acupuncture with Chinese medicine for back support.
