Dr. Goodsons employees love him. Knowledgeable and adjusts medications if needed. Listened well.
Elderly dementia patient taken advantage of twice with extra, unnecessary procedures and medications, despite complaints and requests to stop. Got 2nd opinion which he did not like being questioned. Very arrogant and bad communication skills.
Hard to tell if he doesn't care or if he is just not very bright. Spent less than ten minutes in the room with me before concluding that my symptoms weren't as I described them and walked out. Refused to listen to any further explanation. I was having issues that required me to monitor them while awake to prevent them from flaring up. I would wake up in pain and would again have to apply a technique I used while awake to remedy the situation. I had turp 03/19/2020 the anesthesiologist who was assisting Dr. Goodson broke my front right tooth. I text him on patient portal Dr. Goodson advising him bout the incident he has Jason mills to advised me St Vincent doesn't have a dentist to contact my dentist didn't offer me compassion assisting me to contact the anesthesiologist about the broken teeth. I had a lithotripsy to break up a kidney stone. It went well, but this doctor was very absent. When he was to meet with me in recovery, he was nowhere to be found. Even medical personnel were looking for him. I was promised to have a prescription of Tamsulosin sent to my pharmacy but it still hasn't gotten there and I can't seem to reach Goodson. Dr. Goodson could not have been any better! He was reassuring and honest about how to handle my situation. We followed his plan and my results were better than I could have hoped for. Will be seeing him again if I ever needed to!
Women- don't use him! Male chauevinist pig. I saw him when I was pregnant and my son had flipped and cut off my urinary tract resulting in an inability to urinate. After several catheters, I was miserable from inflammation. The company that I worked for sent him paperwork to complete to document my absences. He refused bc it was titled "short-term disability" paperwork. He yelled at me about just trying to get a disability when I had never even filed for a disability! I would NEVER go back!
