So, we had our roof done this last spring. Timber was prompt about getting out to give us an estimate and began work quickly. As someone with previous roofing experience I felt comfortable with them and was happy to see that they seemed to be quick, efficient and on their game.. They sold us 6 replacement windows in the summer of 2012. 1. The big windows are still difficult to open (they promised that they would "loosen up" after the first year. 2. The burglar stops on 4 of the windows have broken 3. The thermopane seal has failed on 2 windows I called twice last summer to have them fix these problems - the second time I spoke directly with the manager. No action whatsover. We actually like the windows - the after-sale service stinks.

I called and asked if they were able to do a roof repair on a section of my roof 2 weeks before my closing date to sell my home. The receptionist checked with the project manager, and after asking for my address and learning I live close by their office, he gave approval. The next day they sent a friendly man out to take pictures of my roof. He told me that he would show the pictures to the project manager and have him call me with an estimate. My computer just ate a long post about my experience with Timber Roofing. Maybe I'll rewrite it later. Bottom line... It is a good idea to consider this company. I am very picky. They did an amazing job. Maybe not the cheapest, however in ten years what matters? (plus it has a 50 year warranty) My house looks better then is ever did, ever the neighbors have commented on it.
