If I could give Timber Oaks a rating, it would always be a zero. This apartment complex not only moves people into uninhabitable conditions but also engages in fraudulent practices. If you live here document everything!!!!!!! Certify mail and take pictures! Keep for your records even the smallest of things. I urge you to report them to the city and the Equal Housing Opportunity office. Do not move here if you have any other choice! I cannot recommend this complex to anyone less. From the very beginning there have been issues. Management has changed 3 or 4 times in the 13 months I’ve been here. Each one seems to be worse than the last. Buildings are falling apart. The outside doors don’t lock or even close. It took 6 weeks and involving a lawyer and the department of housing before they would remove mold from my unit. Police and/or ambulances are at one of the buildings at least once every few days. I would advise anyone to not move in there units … the units are moldy and the hallways reeks and when you move out and ask for your security deposit back the tell you they took it because of final utilities . Which everyone who ever lived here knows you pay your own utilities and the regional manager is so unprofessional she say she’s traveling and will get back to .. they also owe me prorated rent to do yea I lawyered up .. if I could give zero stars I definitely would
My building has had a water outage every single month since I moved in and I’ve only been here 7 months. It’s inhumane and unprofessional. I’ve left emails with no response I have visited the leasing office with my concerns and problems. This is a clear situation of our landlord and maintenance workers using a temporary fix on a permanent problem . Something needs to be done .
