Zero stars if I could. My teenage daughter buys lunch (or at the very least a beverage) here almost every day, and after school she regularly waits here to be picked up. This has never been an issue, until today. There was a sketchy person outside following her, so she went inside to feel safe while she waited. Instead of showing any understanding, the manager on duty told her she wasn’t allowed to stay. He was rude, dismissive, and completely lacked empathy for a young girl who felt unsafe. The Tim Hortons does not have a drive-through so it’s walk-in traffic only. They’re seating for about 30 people inside. Staff is friendly and services standard for a Tim Hortons.
It was just a normal day. I went to Tim Hortons with my child to buy donuts and coffee before we went home because I picked my child up from school. When we arrived, there were many customers and we lined up properly. I know how to order correctly because I am a shift manager at a fast-food restaurant.
