오타와시 다운타운의 멧칼프 거리에 위치한 팀홀튼의 지점. 캐나다의 국민브랜드 커피전문점이라서 그런지 매장이 여기저기 많이 보인다. 점심식사를 마치고 거리를 걷다가 발견해서 방문했는데, 팀홀튼 매장은 처음이었다. 스타벅스와 비슷한 컨셉의 커피전문점으로 알고 있었는데, 다양한 종류의 도넛류와 샌드위치, 쿠키, 그리고 크로와상 등 빵 종류도 판매한다. 피자나 Bowl 등의 메뉴도 있어 롯데리아 같다는 느낌을 받았다. 밖에서 보기보다 내부는 넓지 않으며 테이블도 많지 않아 좀 당황스러웠다. 실내가 깨끗하게 관리되고 있다고는 보이지 않았다. 커피의 맛도 평범하게 느껴졌는데, 워낙 한국의 카페에서 고급커피를 맛보아서 그런것 같다. 최근에 한국에도 매장이 생기고 있고, 본토와는 조금 다르게 고급스러운 컨셉으로 포지셔닝하는 것으로 알고 있다. 새로운 시도와 경험은 늘 즐겁다.
