staff is completely ignorant.
This morning when I went to get a coffee with my husband I gave the cashier a compliment on her lashes and she just looked at me like I was dirt and didn’t say anything. When I was hired a long time ago, I was told being nice to customers is important because the cashier is the first person some people see in the morning, and you wouldn’t want to be responsible for making them feel bad about anything. I was extremely upset by this gesture because judgment of others should not be tolerated like this in such a workplace.
