Dr. Tilton and the clinic staff always make what is for me, as a person who has had diabetes for 61 years and is terrified of blindness a terrifying experience. pleasant and informative. Having had two laser surgeries done by Dr. Tilton, one during a power failure which occurred after the procedure began, I can say that without a doubt he is the best retinal surgeon practicing in this state.

Dr. Tilton preformed emergency retinal surgery on me and he was fantastic. Great surgical skill, patient interaction and follow-up. He also addressed an emergency macula hole and it is healing nicely now, enabling me to avoid surgery.
Dr. Tilton is clearly abreast of state of the art treatments for advanced AMD, and he is conservative in applying them, always keeping in mind possible adverse side effects and the safety of his patients. And his attention to anesthetic use, kind demeanor and gentle hands make a distressing treatment bearable.
Under his care for a number of years. So lucky to have him.
This was an annual check. He explained what is changing in my eyes and what symptoms to look for in case of problems.
I am a 73 year old with diabetic retinopathy, the onset of age related macular degeneration and other eye issues, Dr. Tilton has done two successful surgeries to correct issues that were making it impossible for me to read. As a retired attorney reading is my favorite pastime. I trust his experience and expertise and would not use another retinologist even though the specialists at the university of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus are available to me.
