Beautiful Setting, Disappointing Dining Experience Tillie’s is a beautiful restaurant with impressive architecture and a lovely setting. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience fell short of expectations. I left feeling that the visual presentation of the restaurant takes priority over the food and hospitality. Can only speak for breakfasts as we ate there during our stay at camp Lucy. Very average/on the first day even poor. Had undercooked potatoes and omelette first day. Super sweet Greek yoghurt which tasted like a dessert - I ended up sending it back. We were put off going for dinner because it’s more of an upmarket dinner place, and if they can’t do a decent breakfast we didn’t want to spend the money on an expensive dinner.
