Tillie Pierce House Inn was a perfect location for our sightseeing 2 nights /3 days in Gettysburg. The house is beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Even with 3-4 other couples in residence, the evenings were quiet. Everything was very clean. (I was surprised at the lack of tissues in the room/bathroom, and when we ran out of toilet paper there was no response to our request for more.) The breakfast was delicious, and the snacks provided in the dining room appreciated.
Nice location in town and was still quiet even though on main street. Room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend.
So we visit Gettysburg often and this was our first stay and last with Tillie Pierce Inn. We stayed in Fannie Buehler Suite and honestly when first walked in we thought wow its big, but then we noticed the air conditioning must have not been working or not keeping up for this room. The reason we know it worked in the rest of Inn was they gave us the wrong room originally and that room was very cool temperature wise.
