I used to go to Holly at the counseling center in Rockaway and she was great but she had to go on maternity leave and is now leaving. I tried a new lady and she was horrible. Not enough counselors so you don’t get many choices and they don’t have time for you. I was treated like my problems were an annoyance and when I did get to talk the therapist talked about herself. I didn’t get the help I needed here it is sad to say because I have been with them for a long time . I can’t speak for everyone that works here but I do share some experiences that the reviews say for example gaslighting and assumptions of things and how some of the people here aren’t even qualified for things I went in for ☹️ I wish my experience could have been more positive with them.
Too many clients, so few therapist. Appointments few and far between. Help they never gave... so sad 😔 The office help are horrible home wreckers.
I have been seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist through TFCC for over two years, and have had nothing but excellent service. They’re professional and welcoming. I’m sorry to see the bad reviews on here, as I’ve not had the same experience at all. They’ve helped me so much, I feel I owe my happiness and health to them. If you’re struggling please call TFCC. They are here to help.
