Great family tradition in Dover. Ernest & Alice Tilghman started this business a long time ago, then passed it on to Gil, who was taken from us far too early, and now to Scott. I wish you continued success in providing a much needed service to the people of Dover and surrounding area. Keep up the good work - Ernest & Gil would be proud of you.....
Broke down a mile away from Tilghman’s Garage, was able to make it there without overheating. Radiator blew but man they were the best crew I’ve ever experienced. Had new radiator within 20 minutes and replaced very quickly. Great pricing. Thank y’all so much
RecommendedIf I could give 100000 stars to these guys I would. I had a flat tire, pulled into Tilghman’s, and they had me in and out in 15 minutes. I am so impressed and grateful!!!! Super professional, kind, and efficient.
Want to give a big shout out to Tilghman's Garage in Dover NC and all the mechanics! It's becoming more and more a rare commodity for people to do what they said they would. But that's exactly what they did! They made a pretty major repair on my hunting truck and did an awesome job! They were able to save me a lot of money without cutting corners and I won't forget that! I always know I'm in good hands when they are working on my vehicles! Thanks again for the hard work that was put into my truck!

we have taken all our vehicles to be serviced at our friend gil tilghmans garage for many years and received fantastic service.
They are some good friendly people, an they are awesome on doing their jobs.
Tilghman's garage is awesome and highly recommended! They helped me out a lot today and everybody was so friendly making sure I was okay being 9 months pregnant! They made sure I knew everything that was needed to be done with my car and explained everything! Awesome job!!! Y'all need to come out and see them!
