If I could write two reviews, I would. I'll say that the care received here is always top notch. The care team is kind and lovely. But my one-star review is due to my recent billing experience and is absolutely deserving. Here's what happened: I had oral surgery. I recently received a bill for $2500 (rounded) once all the insurance payments were in. But the detail and the total didn't tie out. During the consultation he (Dr. Schwartz) was engaging and explained the procedure. On surgery day, he never made eye contact, gave minimal explanation, and I woke up not knowing my teeth had been removed. I understand that wisdom teeth extraction is a good pay out for insurance. I’m 58. There was nothing wrong with my wisdom teeth. Neither Dr. Schwartz or Dr. Vermani (Naylors Court Dental) have followed up with me after such a needless and painful experience. Why is it not ok to have a patient with no dental issues??
I had my consultation with Dr. Hyatt at the Towson office and had two wisdom teeth extracted at the Owings Mills office with the staff at both places, exceptionally nice, kind and reassuring. Dr. Hyatt was wonderful and I would highly recommend him! I had no pain with my teeth extraction. I was very impressed with the services provided.
I broke a tooth last week, my normal dentist couldn’t pull it so I had to find an oral surgeon to remove it. I got an appointment set up the following week with DR Schwartz. Quick and wasn’t painful, best thing was my insurance covered 90% of the cost (BCBS) and it was 28$ out of pocket
