Tile Source, Palo Alto - HORRIBLE SERVICE $$$Hidden shipping cost I ordered tiles from Tile Source, less than 1/2 pallet, some were being shipped from NYC. I requested shipping estimates in advance (FYI-MANY tile places include shipping in the tile price because they have good rates with shipping carriers) Any way, they NEVER notified me of the final shipping, even AFTER they charged my credit card. I'm still fighting with them on this - shipping was almost $900! I could have bought a plane ticket and they have YET to give m... read more
Stay Away from This Place!!! I ordered a few samples so I would be sure of color as the tiles were pretty expensive. The salesgirl wrote an order and totaled it at the bottom with no shipping charges and no mention of shipping charges. When the samples arrived the store called me requesting an additional 50% for shipping + tax. I balked of course and the owner faxed me a work order where she altered the document - crossed out the total at the bottom and added in tax + shipping. As if that were my consent for shipping charges... read more
