Extremely disappointing experience. The biryani tasted spoiled, and the server admitted it was from yesterday. When we explained that the food tasted bad and asked for a refund, they refused and said, ‘This is how we serve.’ The behavior was rude and unprofessional. Serving old food and treating customers this way is unacceptable. Would not recommend.
We ordered for myself and my wife, and the total came out to be $55, which is just absolutely insane. We only got two entrees and a thing of naan. They charged me for her entree and then charged $8 for a thing of rice, which is just absolutely crazy. My wife bit into her chicken and it was cold in the middle. We told them about it, and instead of remaking the dish, all they did was heat it up in the microwave, which is absolutely dumb. We left to go get our kids, and I called to ask for a refund. It was great I really liked it but when I got the pita bread it was burned on both of them so that did take away from it
I get lunch here often. Their food is amazing, but their service is very inconsistent, at least when ordered on Grubhub. I usually order pickup 15-20 minutes ahead, and sometimes when I get there they haven't even noticed the order come in, so I have to sit there for another 20 minutes while they make it. They're frequently out of items, and will just randomly substitute items to replace it instead of contacting you. Ordered their “big box” meal and this was honestly a serious food safety concern. The rice was hot, but the chicken was cold NOT slightly warm, but clearly not properly heated. That’s exactly the kind of situation that raises questions about how long food has been sitting out or how it’s being handled in the kitchen. Serving food at inconsistent temperatures like that is how people get sick.
