Went there 4 times in a 5 day period. Spent Memorial Day weekend downtown Tavares the whole weekend boating and socializing. The large group I was with went to 5 different restaurants downtown and the only one that was consistent in service, food, and cold beer, that did not say "Sorry we are out of this or that " was Tiki West !!! Keep up the great job ! We had the grilled oysters, Chili shrimp salad and the coconut shrimp. Everything was delicious.
Food - excellent. Apalachicola oysters medium size and tasty. Cold peel n eat plump and fresh. Service - very good. Waitress was attentive and pleasant. Seemed like she could be new to food service. Didn't introduce herself. Change from the bill needed to be broken for the tip. Otherwise no complaints. Atmosphere - fun casual vibe. There was no soap in the lady's room (I mentioned it to our waitress and she assured me she would take care of it). The tables, floors and bathrooms were clean. FINALLY got to try this place and im here to tell you it was very good all the way around! Food was extremely good, service was great, atmosphere was awesome, just an all around great place to eat! Will be eating here more often!
Don't get the crab cakes unless you like mostly breading.
Excellent location with a great view of lake Dora, great menu a mix of sea and land lover options! Most importantly fast friendly service!
A great night with super service and delicious food: fried oysters and mahi mahi dinner!! So many happy younger people here!!
Awesome service and the best seafood around! The Maui bites and Coleslaw is a must!
