We knew going into this that we’d be paying more for the atmosphere than quality of the food but I was still very disappointed. I ordered the faro salad and it was actually hilarious at how little faro was actually in there. It was a pile of cheap lettuce with a SPRINKLE of faro. Our server was super personable in the beginning and then we saw less and less of her and every time we had to flag her down, she seemed annoyed with us so I don’t know what happened there. Impressive how a bar with only about 15 customers and 3 bartenders can still take 15 minutes to serve two beers. The highlight, though, was the customer service. We asked to simply see the bottle of a whisky before ordering, and instead of showing it, the bartender questioned why we wanted to see it and told us it wasn’t possible. Beautiful atmosphere but be mindful for events. There are occasionally deceptive practices at play that can disrupt an experience - example - order a drink - handed it - and will not be told there’s a 2 drink minimum with cards until the beverage is already handed. Beyond the overpriced drinks ($10+ on a corona) - service can be questionable. Overall beautiful venue - questionable sales tactics.
