Atmosphere was ok. Appetizer took a bit long in coming out. Personnel were friendly. Drinks good. Menu is limited and abit pricey.But the food we ordered was very good.Hate to say this but more than likely not coming back. Good luck with the brewing of beers!! This area needs a lot of more of places like this on waterfront for tourists.
We were eager to try the new restaurant, since we enjoy brew pubs. Typically, brew pubs have good beer and OK food. Tight Line primarily offers "local" North Carolina beer. Beer selections were OK and we found 2 "local" brews that were quite good. Nothing wrong with the beer, although for $6.50 per pint, it better be good. The problem was the food. AMAZING! I had the Low Country Shrimp Dip and it comes with fresh pork rinds that were actually still sizzling and popping when they brought it to the table. I felt like I had died and gone to Heaven. I would buy that dip by the gallon! Excited to have a place in Carteret county that I could order a burger "medium". Took my dad out for lunch for Father's Day here today!! The food was great; however I do think the lunch menu needs to have more of a selection that supports the local economy with more options of seafood. The crab and spinach dip was amazing and a must try. All of our entrees were great as well.
Food was OK. Service was great. Prices were high for quality, quantity and location.
