I had my annual mammogram yesterday. This is the first time I had been given someone who was completely clueless on how to do the procedure with someone with very large breasts. Not only did she pull my breast tissue so tight, she had issues figuring out how to make the machine take the X-rays and so I had to remain in place for a lot longer than I should have with the device engaged in the angled position. Dr was a jerk. No real manners So unkind. He needs to be more caring to woman who have been sitting there worried after a mammogram and called back for a ultrasound.
Everyone there is so kind and compassionate. They put you at ease. Doctor Ball is amazing.
The mobile unit itself is very convenient, and the ladies who work on the mobile unit are very nice. Unfortunately the “digital” imaging takes forever to be sent to physicians. My physician ordered additional imaging to be done at the UH Breast Center because of an abnormality on my mammogram. My appointment was two weeks after my original mammogram with Tiffany’s Breast Care Center, and I had to reschedule for another two weeks later in time for the images to arrive. My mother has been going to them for many years. My mother has always been high risk for breast cancer. She got her annual mammogram in May and they never alerted her that she had some abnormalities. She just found out in September that she has Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Had Tiffany Breast Center CALLED MY MOTHER WITH PAPERWORK THAT HAD ALERT IN BOLD LETTERS.... she would have caught the cancer sooner. So I do not recommend these people. Sorry, not sorry.
